Opening it's doors in 2012, Raising the Barre combines the best of Pilates, resistance training, and ballet to strengthen and tone your body. Using isometric movements, light weights, and your own body weight, you will shape and strengthen each area of your body and notice a tangible difference in the way you look and feel in less than two months.



Nicole Pridgen, owner of Raising the Barre, was professionally trained in New York under the Lotte Berk Method where she fell in love with the techniques of barre. Seeing a need to make barre accessibly and affordable to all inspired her to open Raising the Barre, which partners with local recreation facilities to offer a low cost while still maintaining the integrity of a high quality barre workout. The result? A safe, effective, and affordable barre workout! Raising the Barre is designed to increase flexibility and produce long lean muscles. A tighter seat, flatter abs, toned thighs, sculpted arms, and a strong core...This is Raising the Barre!
